Rich Wolfe, a long-time organizer and leader of scuba diving trips throughout the world, has been a regular presenter at Diving Rebels meetings. He has provided updates and guidance about dive travel best practices as well as fielding questions about international diving and travel opportunities. In addition to continue in organizing and leading dive trips, Rich has become an American Airlines flight attendant so he now has additional insight into providing travel safety and security tips and guidelines in consideration of the current travel environment.
He will provide updates on navigating rising airfares amidst the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the works. Rich will also discuss a diving experience that he endured, which we all hope will never happen to any of us during our diving. Rich suffered a stingray sting on his foot that, even with immediate treatment, became severely infected such that he almost lost his foot and had to endure skin grafts. He has recovered now and will share his experience with us.
