History of the newsletters goes back to the early days of the Diving Rebels with great thanks to the Cummins family who preserved many of the original newsletters, particularly Mary Cummins who acted as chief editor and typist for many of those years. Starting with Mimeograph to photocopied then finally in electronic form. The chief cost to the club was the production cost of the newsletter and postage necessary. George Cummins was one of the founders of the Diving Rebels and then Owner of Arlington SCUBA which sadly closed in 2025 at the time, one of the oldest Dive Shops in the United States. – Jim Magnuson 2025
