
Next Dive Outing: Will be with the SCUBA Dillos for their great Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at Tyler State Park, April 26th. See this link to read the SCUBA Dillos information about the event. Note: There is a $10 charge for non Dillos members, and as a State Park there are those usual fees.
Our next outing will be the following Saturday May 3 an unusual dive opportunity. This will be a Members only dive at a shallow, but clear, rock quarry near Mexia Texas. See Details here.

Next meeting will be 1st Wednesday as usual, this one on May 7th and J Gilligans in Central Arlington, Social at 6:30 Meeting starts at 7:00PM.
Our speakers will be Bob Curtis, Who will discuss aspects of commercial underwater activities. He actually did saturation diving in the North Sea as his 1st job, in a long career that saw many changes in the way we accomplish difficult underwater tasks. As an Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle piolet and instructor. Bob has been recognized as one of the premiere International Subsea Simulation experts for many years. He has worked as a Rescue/Recovery Diver in the 70’s, Saturation Diver and with various Atmospheric Diver Suits (i.e. Jim, Wasp, Mantis) in the 80’s, built a couple of his own submarines, and in more recent years been involved with the ROV industry, primarily prototypes. Former World-Class Triathlete. Bob has a BS Degree in Marketing. Bob has been in Twenty-Seven countries, worked in Nineteen, is passionate about aquatic rescue education, occasionally helps marine archeologists, and has given presentations throughout the world, usually on subsea related technologies and advancements.
